About the Role

Job Summary:
The Continuous Improvement Engineer will be responsible for analyzing day-to-day operations, identifying improvement opportunities, scoping and implementation of the improvement projects. The ideal candidate will be agile, hard working and will have both process optimization and project implementation experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize day-to-day operations.
- Design and implement new processes to streamline operations and allow for easy repeatability
- Work with the operations manager to prioritize improvement projects based on operations needs.
- Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all equipment to maximize uptime and efficiency
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure alignment and coordination
- Develop and maintain metrics to track performance and progress towards operational goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process improvement, project management, and equipment maintenance

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions

  • Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across departments

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely convey information to a wide range of stakeholders
